Born of the new-wave movement of the late '70s, Kevan Staples and Carole Pope of Rough Trade altered the cultural landscape in Canada with their political, sexual, poignant and fucking-funny look at '80's life. Carole Pope is a three-time Juno winner and in 2007, The band was inducted into the Indie Hall of Fame during Canadian Music Week. IndieCan.com was there.
